Role
The Associate Photographer is responsible for media collection on Homes.com and Apartments.com. Equipped with Matterport Pro3 cameras, digital cameras, and iPads, photographers create virtual tours, floor plans, and marketing photography for residential properties. Each photographer serves a core territory, scheduling appointments, scanning homes, capturing images, and working closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and management.

Responsibilities

Capture 3‑D virtual tours and footprints for Homes.com and Apartments.com.

Create a portfolio of photographs that best feature homes and apartments, using advanced photography techniques.

Co‑ordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.

Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researchers, and management to evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.

When not photographing residential homes, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real‑estate data coverage.

Identify new inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to be photographed.

Follow CoStar safety standards to protect company vehicles and equipment.

Represent CoStar in a professional manner at all times.

Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

Physical Requirements
Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day, and lifting or maneuvering equipment weighing up to 5 pounds. Requires occasional bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and carrying. Ability to work and drive outside in all seasons, and to work weekends on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of professional photography experience.

Real‑estate photography experience required.

Experience as a professional photographer or a recent degree in photography.

High School Diploma or GED.

Strong customer service experience with a client‑first mindset.

FAA Part 107 drone pilot license or certification obtained within 30 days of offer.

Strong time‑management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to accurately capture and enter data.

Excellent verbal, written, and organizational communication skills.

Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, internet applications, and Apple iOS products.

Independent worker who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Field experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
