Wisconsin Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee: Campaign Manager The Campaign Manager will be responsible for all departments of each campaign, including finance, field, political and communications. The Campaign Manager will report directly to the candidate and a Regional Campaigns Director. The ideal candidates will have at least one cycle of campaign experience and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative environment. The work will require travel, evening, and weekend hours and will be based in a targeted assembly district in Wisconsin.Qualified candidates must be highly organized, able to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. An ideal Campaigns Manager candidate will possess:At least one (1) cycle of paid campaign experience strongly preferredExperience with Votebuilder, NGP, and ActBlueExcellent Google Docs and Microsoft Excel skillsQuick problem-solving skills and solutions-oriented mindset. Must be able to take, give, and implement feedbackAbility to manage multiple projects/deadlines at once and keep calm in stressful situationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgmentReliable access to a computer and personal transportation is requiredAbility to serve as a representative of the Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee and our policies, including neutrality as directed.Job Responsibilities:Work with a team of consultants and caucus staff to draft and implement a robust campaign plan that outlines campaign efforts through Election Day, including fundraising, voter contact, volunteer recruitment, local stakeholder outreach, and local media outreach.Manage the candidates to ensure that strategic campaign objectives are being met.Develop and execute a multifaceted finance plan with programs aimed at multiple donor categories (including PACs, high and low dollar individuals, and other institutional givers)Manage candidate/principal call time, including donor research, tracking pledges, conducting all follow-up correspondence, and officially thanking donorsBuild on, manage, and improve the existing donor database to identify, research, and recruit new donorsReport to, coordinate with, and ensure ADCC HQ staff are fully informed of all progress and roadblocks in the district, preventing information silos or information gatekeepingDevelop and nurture relationships with key community leaders, neighborhood associations, opinion leaders, and organizations.Oversee field operations, including canvass scheduling and launches, volunteer recruitment, engagement and retentionCollaborate with candidate/principal, caucus staff and consultants on messaging, outreach strategy, and get out the vote activitiesPrepare candidate/principal for interviews & debates, create press releases, manage press relationships and rapid response communicationsSupervise and manage campaign staff, interns, and volunteersManage day to day campaign operations, coordinate candidate/principal's schedule and prioritize to ensure time is allocated wiselyOn year requirements include working outside of normal work hours; including canvassing and other election-preparation as necessary.Physical Requirements:Working from a computer for long periods of time;Flexibility to work extensive hours outside of normal operating hours;Ability to drive and/or access to personal transportationStatewide travel is expected while following public health safety measures.Compensation:Salary range for this position is $65,000-$70,000 annually depending on qualifications and experience.
