We’re looking for a talented Video Production & Editing Specialist to join our growing team and help bring our agency + clients’ stories, campaigns, podcasts, and content to life through compelling visual storytelling.

About The Role

This role combines video production, filming, editing, motion graphics, and creative storytelling across a variety of brands and projects.
You’ll work closely with our content creators, social media managers, designers, and leadership team to create content that is both visually engaging and strategically aligned with our clients’ goals.
From filming content days and podcast episodes to editing YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, promotional campaigns, and branded content, you’ll play a key role in the entire content creation process from concept to final delivery.
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just edit videos.

Event coverage and behind-the-scenes content

Socials & Stilettos internal marketing initiatives
Content for The Content Lab and other agency brands
Key Responsibilities Video Editing & Post-Production

Edit engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms
Edit long-form YouTube videos, interviews, educational content, podcasts, and promotional videos
Create high-retention edits designed to capture and maintain audience attention
Add captions, transitions, text animations, sound effects, music, and visual effects
Create and animate lower thirds, title sequences, callouts, and branded graphic elements
Incorporate B-roll, motion graphics, and visual storytelling techniques into content
Organize footage, project files, and editing workflows
Export and optimize content for multiple platforms and formats
Video Production & Filming

Attend client content days and production shoots
Film content at the Socials & Stilettos headquarters and Content Lab
Travel to client locations throughout York Region + Toronto/GTA when required
Capture content for social media, podcasts, YouTube, interviews, events, and promotional campaigns
Set up and operate cameras, lighting, microphones, and filming equipment
Capture creative B-roll and behind-the-scenes footage
Assist with shot planning and creative execution during filming days
Help team + clients feel comfortable and confident on camera
Creative Storytelling & Brand Execution

Bring creative concepts and campaign ideas to live through video
Follow established brand guidelines while maintaining each client’s unique visual identity
Incorporate brand colors, typography, logos, and visual assets into content
Collaborate with the creative team on content concepts and execution
Ensure all content aligns with broader marketing and brand objectives
Stay current with content trends, editing styles, platform updates, and industry best practices
Required Skills & Experience

Professional experience in both video production and video editing
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere
Working knowledge of CapCut
Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, audience retention, and content structure
Experience creating lower thirds, motion graphics, animated text, and branded visual elements
Experience editing both short-form and long-form content
Experience working with brand guidelines and visual identities
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong attention to detail

Requirements

Ability to work in office in Aurora, Ontario
Comfortable attending client content days and production shoots
Ability to travel to client locations throughout York Region/Toronto/GTA when required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Comfortable lifting, transporting, and setting up filming equipment
