Responsibilities
Create original, engaging illustrations that align with the book's narrative and tone
Develop character designs and visual concepts based on provided story outlines
Collaborate closely with the author to ensure illustrations complement the text
Deliver high-quality, print-ready artwork in required formats and resolutions
Revise artwork based on feedback to achieve the desired visual style
Manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of all illustrations
Skills And Requirements
Proven experience in children's book illustration or similar projects
Strong portfolio showcasing age-appropriate, narrative-driven artwork
Proficiency in digital illustration tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate
Ability to interpret and visually represent written stories for young audiences
Excellent communication skills and responsiveness in a remote work environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to incorporate feedback constructively
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage deadlines independently
