Position Overview
Jewish News Syndicate (JNS), the fastest-growing news agency covering Israel and the Jewish world, is seeking a Spanish Language Video Editor for a new Spanish-language news and interview show.
This is a freelance, part-time position focused on editing high-quality digital news and interview content for YouTube and social media platforms. The ideal candidate is fast, detail-oriented, editorially aware, and experienced in creating engaging video content.
Schedule
The position consists of 2 editing shifts per week.
Responsibilities include:
Editing full podcast/interview episodes
Creating clean and engaging cuts for digital audiences
Integrating graphics, music, subtitles, and B-roll when needed
Collaborating with producers and hosts on editorial direction
Preparing final exports for publishing
Requirements
Native or fluent Spanish
Experience editing video content for YouTube, podcasts, or digital media
Strong storytelling and pacing instincts
Proficiency in professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred)
Ability to work under deadlines and follow editorial guidelines
Based in Israel
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with news or current affairs content
Basic motion graphics knowledge
Hebrew and/or English proficiency
