Leading executive communications strategies, the full-time remote Director of External Communications will develop and execute external messaging, enhance executive visibility, and prepare leaders for high-profile engagements in the healthcare sector.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement external communications strategies, including speeches and executive messaging
Ensure consistent and authentic messaging across external platforms while enhancing executive presence
Prepare executives for interviews and speaking engagements in collaboration with media relations teams
Required qualifications
High School diploma with 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in leadership, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in leadership
10-12 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations, particularly in executive communications
Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations preferred
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field required
