Cloud Report Writer - Workday OfficeConnect (CONTRACT)

Overview:

We are seeking a

Cloud Report Writer

to support our budgeting and forecasting efforts during an active Workday implementation. This individual will leverage

OfficeConnect

within Workday to build and refine reports for the

Budget Office and Finance Team . The ideal candidate is highly proficient with financial reporting tools and can collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate their needs into actionable, accurate outputs.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and generate financial reports in

Workday OfficeConnect

to support budgeting and forecasting
Collaborate directly with the

Budget team and Finance stakeholders

to understand reporting needs and iterate on deliverables
Develop internal, executive-level, and occasionally external-facing reports for a variety of audiences
Utilize data from

Workday, Adaptive , and potentially Excel to consolidate reporting outputs
Make recommendations to improve report clarity, consistency, and automation where possible
Provide light support or insights using

Power BI , if needed
Required Experience:

Hands-on experience with

Workday OfficeConnect

reporting
Familiarity with

budgeting and forecasting

processes in a corporate finance environment
Strong working knowledge of

Workday Financials
Comfortable gathering requirements directly from Finance/Business stakeholders
Ability to produce reports suitable for operational, executive, or external use
Nice to Have:

Experience using

Adaptive Insights

for budget/forecast workflows
Familiarity with

Power BI

and ability to support light data visualization needs if they arise
Prior experience working within a

Workday implementation environment
