Knockdown Center is a dynamic arts and events center dedicated to presenting a diverse program of cultural events, performances, and community gatherings.
We seek a dedicated and experienced Music Booking professional to help continue to build and enhance our Live program.
Booking and Show Management

This role involves providing direct support to the live booker for Knockdown Center
Assist Live Booker with bookings, from initial Artist outreach to contract finalization, especially as it relates to finishing a wrapped bill that meets venue goals and headline artist team approval.
Contribute ideas for bookings, especially innovative support ideas across all live genres.
Foster warm and collegial relationships with industry contacts.
Support event needs for confirmed bookings, providing coordination as needed for all event stakeholders to ensure we’re hitting our goals for an event.
Maintain administrative aspects of the booking process; files, emails, and databases.
Participate in show marketing strategy, and promotional content creation
Collaborate with local promoters on co-promoted events and outside venue rentals
Function as Promoter Representative on-site as assigned.
Requirements

Experience working in the live music ecosystem. Familiarity with its structure and various stakeholder's roles.
A commitment to growing in this role.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms in contracts or agreements.
Existing relationships within the industry.
Knowledge of contracts, marketing strategies, sales techniques, and recruiting practices relevant to live events.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills for liaising effectively with artists, agencies, vendors, and internal teams.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
