Volo Sports Social Host - Social Sports (Part-Time)

Job Description
At its core, this role is about having fun at work and making sure our players are having fun, too. You’ll help run leagues and day‑to‑day operations, support players on‑site, and contribute to a positive, community‑driven environment. Hours are flexible and typically take place during weeknights, depending on the league schedule.

Responsibilities

Encourage and maintain a quality experience throughout the league

Help players connect & create a welcoming environment

Use the host app to check in players and report scores

Prepare for league days, such as venue setup and supervision

Promote events and upcoming leagues via social media and on‑field selling

Distribute marketing materials

Requirements (Must‑Haves)

Interest in sports and social activities, including but not limited to Skeeball, Bocce, Cornhole, and other bar activities

Strong attention to detail

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Works well in a team atmosphere

Ability to multi‑task and make decisions under pressure

Ability to lift and carry 30‑50 pounds

Positive, solution‑oriented mindset with clear communication

Availability to work evenings and/or weekends

Proficient customer service skills

High School Diploma / GED Equivalency

Must be 21 or older, as most shifts are located in the bar
