Job Description
Vintage Realty Company is seeking an experienced full‑time painter to complete our Maintenance team at Nelson Pointe Apartment Homes in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The painter position is responsible for assisting in the make‑ready process. This position is located at a Class A Apartment Community in Lake Charles, Louisiana and is full‑time (Hourly
on‑exempt). Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job Duties

Efficiently complete all painting projects to ensure timely move‑ins

Paint the interiors of apartments including preparing walls, spackling, plastering and caulking

Calculate amounts of required materials and estimate costs based on surface measurements or work orders.

Maintain a strong focus on customer/resident satisfaction

Receive work orders and instructions from the Maintenance Supervisor to determine work requirements

Organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines

Apply customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving skills

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of professional painting experience

Must be able to read, speak and understand English for business purposes

Must be able to read and write instructions, short correspondence, memos, service requests, and converse with residents, co‑workers, and vendors professionally

Must successfully complete a pre‑employment background investigation including criminal record search, employment verification, and drug screen
