Position Overview
Wabash Communications is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as part-time Video Camera Operators for live sports event coverage. This role is ideal for high school or college students, or anyone looking for flexible, part-time work with hands‑on media production experience.

Key Responsibilities

Operate video cameras during live broadcasts of local sporting events (e.g., basketball, football, baseball, etc.)

Follow the direction from the production team to capture game action and key moments

Set up and tear down camera equipment before and after events

Maintain steady, high‑quality shots throughout broadcasts

Work evenings and weekends based on the local sports schedule

Qualifications

No prior professional experience required; training will be provided

Interest in video production, broadcasting, or sports is a plus

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Reliable transportation to event locations within the service area

Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused during live events

Preferred Skills (not required)

Basic knowledge of camera operation or media equipment

Familiarity with local school sports programs

Compensation: $15 / hour
