Violin, Piano and Viola Long Term Sub Needed Tuesdays and Fridays

Overview
A growing music school with two locations is seeking a qualified teacher of Violin, Piano and Viola for a long‑term substitute role on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. during mid‑May through July, with the opportunity to take on regular teaching shifts after the subbing period has ended. We are looking for highly qualified and versatile instructors to join our team of effective and caring music educators.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or greater in a related field.

Previous teaching experience is a plus.

The ability to teach to the individual while still meeting set goals for each student.

Good people skills: works well with both children and adults, and enjoys building client relationships.

Timely and reliable—consistency in lessons is important to student growth and success; we do not prefer musicians who regularly take time off to travel and record.

Good time‑management skills.

A positive attitude during instruction: the ability to encourage and motivate students to work through weaknesses and build on strengths.

The desire to collaborate with a team to create a high‑quality yet fun music‑education environment.

Must love teaching; the desire to make teaching your career is a big plus.

Compensation
Part‑time; hourly rate $30‑$32.50.
