Job Description
A global leader in specialty diagnostics is seeking a Product Marketing Manager / Sr. Product Marketing Manager to support its autoimmune disease portfolio. The position could be based in their Southeast office, or work on a hybrid basis from an East Coast location. The company delivers advanced diagnostic solutions that enable clinical laboratories to detect and monitor autoimmune disorders through highly sensitive and automated Elisa/IFA testing platforms. With a strong foundation in protein analysis and antibody detection technologies, the organization is expanding its autoimmune testing menu and market presence across North America. This role is a downstream product marketing position focused on driving growth, utilization, and competitive positioning within the autoimmune diagnostics segment. The Product Marketing Manager / Sr. Product Marketing Manager – Autoimmunity will lead marketing strategy and execution for autoimmune assays and related solutions, ensuring strong market adoption and sustained revenue growth. This individual will play a key role in aligning clinical value with commercial strategy while supporting both direct and indirect sales channels.
Key Duties, Activities and Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management: Develop and implement marketing plans for autoimmune Elisa/IFA assay portfolio; manage product lifecycle including new product introduction, optimization, and rationalization; support global teams with U.S. market insights and clinical requirements.
Market Insight & Competitive Positioning: Conduct in-depth market research on autoimmune diagnostics trends and competitors; develop differentiated value propositions based on clinical performance and workflow efficiency; monitor regulatory, reimbursement, and healthcare trends impacting the segment.
Commercial & Marketing Execution: Lead downstream product launches and promotional campaigns; develop marketing collateral, digital content, and educational materials; support pricing strategies and profitability optimization.
Customer Engagement & KOL Development: Build relationships with rheumatologists, immunologists, and lab leaders; leverage KOL insights to refine product positioning and messaging; support clinical education initiatives and scientific engagement.
Sales Support & Training: Develop and deliver training programs for sales teams and distributors; create sales tools, competitive intelligence, and customer‑facing materials; partner with field teams to drive adoption and utilization.
Other requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field; MBA preferred; 5–10+ years in diagnostics with strong exposure to autoimmune; experience in downstream marketing, product launches, and portfolio management; strong analytical, communication, cross‑functional leadership skills; ability to travel up to 25–30%.
