Painter – responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing interior and exterior surfaces at our resort properties, ensuring high quality, safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities
Remove old paint and prepare surfaces for painting.
Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints, smooth surfaces, and apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to interior and exterior surfaces, trimmings, fixtures, and structures.
Ensure the area of responsibility meets company compliance standards and uses appropriate PPE at all times.
Use scaffolding or ladders safely for work above ground level.
Qualifications
Valid Driver’s License.
Working knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, practices, and tools used in the painting trade.
Knowledgeable in safety use for power tools and shop tools and equipment.
Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
