Job Description
The teacher is the district's primary agent for instruction with responsibility for presenting the prescribed curriculum effectively and employing a diagnostic/prescriptive approach to identification and subsequent adaptation to the needs and interests of the students.

The duties commonly associated with the position include but are not limited to:

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of curriculum content

Planning and assessment of instruction and curriculum

Maintaining classroom management

Planning and delivering effective instruction

Promoting high standards and expectations for student achievement

Communicating with students, parents, and other district employees to work on behalf of students

Promoting equity and appreciation of diversity

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.

MA DESE Certification English 5-12, Library or Instructional Technology All Levels.

Knowledge of coding, familiarity with media software and creating podcasts.

Excellent communication skills and strong classroom management skills.

Commitment to professional growth and collaboration.

At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.

Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
