Key Responsibilities

Production Setup & Strike: Efficiently set up and break down broadcast equipment, including cameras, computers, microphones, sound boards, and video switchers.
Live Operation: Operate cameras and manage real-time production elements—including graphics, instant replays, and on-stream scoreboards—while following precise cues and directions from the Live Broadcast Producer to ensure a cohesive, professional broadcast.
Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment or software issues on the fly to maintain a seamless stream.
Collaboration: Coordinate with the production team to ensure all event-specific requirements are met.
Compensation: Rate $18.00 per hour. Events are paid via a "per-diem" model based on the scheduled length of the event. This part-time position is not eligible for additional benefits.
Qualifications

Age & Eligibility: Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical Proficiency: 1–3 years of experience with A/V equipment (cameras, tripods, sound boards, and switchers).
Software Knowledge: Familiarity with YouTube Studio, OBS, vMix, Blackmagic ATEM, TrackWrestling/FloArena, or Bitfocus Companion.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move A/V equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Sports Knowledge: A general understanding of interscholastic sports rules is a significant plus.
Schedule & Travel

Location & Mobility: Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to various schools throughout our coverage area within New Jersey.
Regional Travel: Occasional travel outside the primary coverage area (e.g., Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New York) may be required. We arrange carpooling where possible; additional per-diem compensation will be provided if driving is required.
Availability: Must be flexible and willing to work weekends and weekday evenings during the academic year. Games can start as early as 3:00 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM on weekends.
Call Times: Call typically 90 minutes prior to the start of the event.
Advance Notice: Schedules are typically provided at least 2 weeks in advance.
