After-school saxophone instructor

Position: Saxophone Instructor
Location: Concord-Carlisle High School and/or Carlisle Public Schools
Schedule: Flexible after-school hours

Seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Saxophone Instructor to provide after‑school music lessons for students ranging from beginner to advanced levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in saxophone performance and instruction, with the ability to engage and support students of varying ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities

Provide individual instruction for beginners through advanced levels

Teach small group saxophone instruction for beginners

Tailor instruction to each student’s skill level and musical goals

Foster a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and IMSCC staff as needed

Support student preparation for concerts, auditions, and performances

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching saxophone students at beginner through advanced levels

Degree in music with saxophone as primary instrument

Experience teaching clarinet is a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

Salary
$62 / per hour
