Production Technician
Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Technician to support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and inspection of electronic components and assemblies in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with electronic circuitry, testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble, test, and inspect circuit boards, subassemblies, switches, relays, and other electronic components.
Utilize measurement instruments including calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and other precision measuring tools to verify product specifications.
Operate oscilloscopes and other electronic test equipment to perform functional testing and troubleshooting.
Read and interpret work instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation.
Use hand tools and power tools to perform assembly, rework, repair, and modification tasks.
Diagnose and resolve basic electrical and mechanical issues identified during testing.
Perform quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure compliance with established standards.
Document test results, production data, and quality findings accurately.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all company safety procedures.
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or vocational education preferred.
Experience in electronics manufacturing, production, assembly, or testing environments.
Proficiency using measurement tools and electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
Experience testing assembled and subassembled circuit boards, switches, relays, and related electronic devices.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Experience using a variety of hand and power tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in manufacturing environments or aerospace, aviation, defense.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality systems.
Some soldering and rework experience.
Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
Manual dexterity for handling small components and precision assembly work.
Ability to distinguish colors and identify component markings when required.
