Position Summary

The Creative Video Assistant will assist the North Florida Athletics Communications department with content creation for all North Florida Athletics NCAA Division I sports, managing content for the official athletics website, social media platforms, and in‑venue displays.
The position begins in July 2025, is a two‑year appointment, renewable after the first year, and will receive a bi‑weekly paycheck.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the Assistant A.D. of Creative Strategy with shooting, editing, and producing short and long‑form content for the athletics website, social media platforms, and in‑venue displays.
Complete projects in a timely manner to deliver high‑quality assets and maintain all social media platforms, meeting the overall goals of the Communications department.
Bring athletic stories to life through creative video content, overseeing the creative video strategy for multiple sports with direction from the Assistant A.D.
Assist in the management and development of part‑time and student assistant staff to ensure coverage of home and away events, and specialty events.
Collaborate across the creative content team to elevate the department in social, digital, and in‑venue media; maintain the content calendar for video production.
Assist with direction and development of the visual style guide to maintain brand consistency.
Assist with digital asset management system to archive content for seasonal and historical use.
Work collaboratively with Associate A.D. of Communications and/or Assistant A.D. of Creative Strategy to handle project needs, requirements, and timelines.
Assist with outside requests and travel as needed for select sports and postseason events.
Work in‑person office hours, and on various nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.
Experience with athletics or a comparable content creation environment.
Background check and credit check (per University policy).
Preferred Skills

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Basic knowledge of DaVinci Resolve.
1–3 years of experience in athletics or content creation.
Understanding of best practice across social media and digital platforms.
