This role offers a unique opportunity to build a rewarding career working with Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) in a dynamic, semiconductor‑focused environment.
Successful candidates will be well versed in sample imaging for some of the following techniques: Cross Section SEM (XSEM), Electron Dispersive X‑Ray Spectroscopy (EDS/EDX), and sample cleaving.
What you’ll do

Support a variety of semiconductor applications using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to image challenging structures.
Image samples on a wafer level taking profile, sidewalls, and top‑down images on the SEM.
Perform some EDS analysis.
Apply image optimization on the SEM for various materials.
Contribute to the development of best‑known methods (BKM) for SEM imaging of new applications.
Perform SEM alignments and correct basic fault conditions on metrology equipment.
Communicate effectively with a large internal customer base in written and verbal form.
Who we’re looking for

AS/BS in related field of discipline or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of SEM experience.
Effective communication skills in English, written and verbal.
Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office software.
Ability to work a shift schedule.
Preferred qualifications

Associate’s degree, Technical Certificate in a technical field.
Experience in metrology or related areas.
Experience in semiconductor is a plus.

Salary

CA SanFrancisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $27.88–$53.85.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, SanFrancisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company‑mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
