4th Shift: Friday – Sunday 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
Position Summary
The 2nd Ops Technician I ensures that quality parts are completed per operation specifications listed on prints, process sheets, or work orders. The role performs standard and repetitive sequences of operations and setups on blasting, buffing, polishing, laser marking, laser welding, and deburring equipment, and may perform light assembly and packaging in preparation for shipping.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate equipment for laser marking, laser welding, blasting, buffing, polishing, assembly, and deburring.
Finish products in accordance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
Use basic inspection equipment such as a micrometer, caliper, Micro Vu, optical comparator plug‑gages, and thread gages.
Read and understand basic blueprints.
Assemble and package diversified medical components, sub‑assemblies, or products to customer requirements following procedure, instructions, and prints.
Perform a variety of duties such as molding, washing, label printing, labeling, deburring, tray and pouch packaging, sealing, and boxing for sterilization.
Deburr parts to print using deburring knives, hand grinding tools, dremel, or other deburring tools.
Qualifications
Ability to run a variety of secondary operations equipment.
Ability to use a microscope and hand tools.
Ability to perform a variety of work duties.
Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
Desirable Criteria
1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Medical manufacturing experience.
Experience working in a highly regulated industry (FDA, ISO).
Pay Range
USD $19.86 – $27.84 per year.

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade based on market‑based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. Offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
