General Description

As the Sr. Paid Marketing Manager for Europe, you will lead the regional performance marketing strategy across multiple countries and digital channels. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns to drive user acquisition, conversion, and retention for Ria Money Transfer’s digital products.
You will manage a team of Digital Paid Marketing Specialists and coordinate closely with regional and global marketing, product, and business teams to ensure that performance goals are achieved across all European markets.
The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in paid media and mobile app growth with a strong growth mindset, constantly testing, learning, and optimizing to drive measurable results at scale. You thrive in fast-paced, multicultural environments and are relentlessly results-oriented.
JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES



Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement the paid marketing strategy for all European markets, ensuring alignment with Digital Business objectives and local business priorities. Champion a growth mindset by continuously identifying new opportunities and channels.


Campaign Leadership: Oversee multi-channel paid campaigns (Search, Social, Display, Programmatic, Video, Influencer Marketing, and Affiliates). Ensure campaigns are data-driven, on-brand, and optimized for maximum ROI — always focused on measurable outcomes.


Mobile App Growth: Lead paid user acquisition and re-engagement campaigns across mobile app channels (iOS & Android). Leverage deep knowledge of app ecosystems, SKAdNetwork, ATT frameworks, and in-app event optimization..


Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Paid Media Specialists across Europe. Set clear performance objectives, provide ongoing coaching, and foster a culture of learning, experimentation, and growth.


Performance & Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and optimize performance marketing campaigns across all platforms. Conduct rigorous A/B tests, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Drive a test-and-learn culture.


Measurement & Attribution: Own the measurement framework for paid media. Work with MMP platforms (e.g. Branch, AppsFlyer, Adjust) and leverage Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) to understand channel contribution, budget efficiency, and incrementality. Ensure accurate attribution across web and app.


Budget Management: Manage and allocate paid media budgets effectively across markets and channels. Ensure transparency, cost-efficiency, and alignment with strategic growth goals. Make data-backed decisions on budget reallocation to maximize returns.


Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Business, Product, Design, and regional marketing teams to create impactful campaigns that support user growth and engagement.


Agency & Vendor Management: Manage relationships with media agencies, vendors, and platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, Programmatic DSPs, etc.), ensuring quality execution and best-in-class practices.


Reporting & Insights: Deliver comprehensive campaign reports and business insights to leadership. Translate complex data into clear recommendations and strategic actions that drive growth.


Market Intelligence: Stay up to date with industry trends, new advertising technologies, new channels, privacy regulations, and competitors’ digital strategies to identify growth opportunities.
Skills and Abilities



Language Proficiency: English is mandatory; Spanish and other European languages are a plus.


Experience: Minimum 6–8 years in performance marketing or paid media, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role. Proven track record managing multi-country campaigns in Europe with demonstrable, results-driven outcomes.


Mobile App Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience running paid UA and retargeting campaigns for mobile apps. Strong understanding of app store ecosystems (iOS/Android), SKAdNetwork, ATT, in-app events, and app-specific KPIs (CPI, CPR,CPA, ROAS, LTV, D1/D7/D30 retention).


Paid Channel Knowledge: Deep knowledge of paid channels (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Programmatic, Display, YouTube, etc.) and strong understanding of attribution, tracking, and analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio, AppsFlyer, etc.).


Growth Mindset: Genuinely curious, always experimenting. Comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration. Proactively identifies growth levers and drives continuous improvement across the funnel.


Analytical & Results-Oriented Mindset: Strong data analysis skills, ability to interpret performance metrics, and develop actionable strategies. You measure what matters and are relentlessly driven by outcomes and ROI.


Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and overcome challenges. Adept at developing innovative marketing ideas and adapting strategies based on campaign performance.


Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, and developing teams across different markets.


Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.


Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Master’s degree or advanced digital marketing certifications are a plus.
