Assistant Buyer, Paid Social Media

We’re hiring an Assistant Buyer, Paid Social Media to join our One Marketplace team. This role is a great fit for someone with a naturally curious mind, is resourceful, and has a love for numbers and genuine desire to build a career in paid social media.

Location/Work Setting: This role requires proximity to our NY office. We offer a hybrid work setting with employees working both onsite and from home; assistants are in the office an average of two - three days a week for training, collaboration, and overall learning.

As an Assistant Buyer, Social Media you will gain exposure to paid social across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Reddit, etc., develop strategy, and optimize campaigns for our clients.

Responsibilities

Assist the team with identifying and managing paid social campaigns.

Daily media campaign management across several social platforms: Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Reddit.

Strategize social media tactics, technology and make budget recommendations.

Utilize your analytical skills to interpret campaign performance and provide creative optimizations.

Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations.

Requirements

3+ months of hands‑on experience in execution & optimization of digital media campaigns with a focus in paid social.

Strong interest in the advertising, media planning/buying industry and paid media.

Analytical skills to interpret overall social performance and paid campaign performance (within and beyond KPIs).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Enjoy and understand working with data, numbers (especially via Microsoft Excel).

Entrepreneurial attitude: excited to build the agency with new tools, ideas and opportunities.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Salary range is $45,000 - $48,000, commensurate with experience.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
