Job Opportunity At Mercedes-Benz Werk Hamburg

Become part of our innovative team in the suspension development department at Mercedes-Benz AG. In our Hamburg plant, we produce, among other things, axles and axle components for a wide range of our series. Our team is responsible for the development of axle components – from the initial idea through prototype construction to the successful transition into series production.
You will work directly with the project management team and gain deep insights into the early phase of future-oriented product projects. Here, you can optimally apply your theoretical knowledge from a technical, economic, or management course of study in practice and gain valuable experience.

Your exciting tasks in detail:
Strategic decision-making: Participation in the preparation of decision templates for future product projects that set the course for production in our plant
Method development: Support in the development and implementation of new methodological approaches to optimize our development processes using intelligent analysis and optimization tools
Technical coordination: Active coordination of technical issues with internal and external partners
Communication & reporting: Creation of meaningful presentations and status reports for various stakeholders
Network & interfaces: Cross-departmental work with diverse interfaces within and outside the plant – get to know the complexity of a global company
Project participation & relationship management: Active participation in workshops for problem-solving and support in supplier and customer management to ensure smooth operations
The position can start in January 2027.
Qualifications:
Degree in engineering, economics, or a comparable field
Secure German and English language skills in speech and writing
Secure handling of MS-Office
