Job Title Master Carpenter/ Craftsman Job Overview We are looking for highly motivated professional Carpenters with skills in multiple trades. This is a W2 position that offers flexible scheduling and the ability to work independently. You will be scheduled to jobs in Asheville and surrounding areas, travel to sites using your own truck or van, and provide quality craftsmanship and customer service to clients. Compensation Hourly wages of $27 to $30, based on experience; $500 On-Boarding Bonus after 90 days; performance bonuses. Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Company credit card Flexible scheduling Advancement and growth opportunities Regular pay reviews Consistent year‐round work Job Requirements We look for Craftsmen and Craftswomen with a strong work ethic, a professional appearance and demeanor, and a broad knowledge of all trades—including Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, Drywalling, light Plumbing, and Electrical. Excellent customer service skills, solid communication, and the ability to interact positively with clients, employees, management, and office personnel are essential. Specific Qualifications For The Role Include Successful prior track record as a Carpenter / Craftsperson; estimation skills and prior home inspection experience strongly preferred. Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing. Own standard set of tools to perform all of the above trades. Own truck or van. Current and valid driver's license. Residence within 15 miles of the city of Asheville. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‐solving skills. Strong documentation and invoicing skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
