Production Technician

Join the manufacturing team supporting the ACCU-CHEK portfolio of diabetes care products. This role is responsible for operating and supporting manufacturing equipment used to produce diabetic blood glucose testing strips. The Production Technician performs equipment setup, machine operation, quality inspections, and production support while following established manufacturing procedures and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor automatic and semi-automatic manufacturing equipment.
Manufacture diabetic testing strips following production process sheets and work instructions.
Perform routine machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting to maintain production efficiency.
Conduct in-process inspections and verify products meet established quality standards and tolerances.
Follow written and verbal work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing procedures.
Support production operations by assisting team members and other departments as needed.
Complete production documentation accurately and maintain manufacturing records.
Monitor equipment performance and report production or quality issues to supervisors.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and help achieve daily production and quality objectives.
Adhere to all company safety, quality, and manufacturing policies.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, assembly, or warehouse environments preferred.
Ability to operate manufacturing equipment following detailed work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive production tasks.
Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.
