Ripples Edge Media specializes in crowdfunding and startup videos, providing expertise that drives viewers toward a clear call‑to‑action. The team includes dedicated video production professionals and 2D/3D motion graphic designers who guide clients in messaging efforts.

We are seeking a part‑time intern (10–20 hours per week) to assist with scripting, video shooting, and editing of film projects for various startup and nonprofit clients. Responsibilities include helping create video pieces for large capital raise campaigns and potentially receiving backend bonuses on a commission‑basis, depending on project and contract. The internship runs for 3–6 months and is unpaid, with financial bonuses tied to campaign success. The role may lead to future full‑time employment upon completion.

Skills Required

Excellent professional script‑writing and storytelling skills.

Savvy researcher.

Access to own video and sound equipment, including editing software.

Detail‑oriented.

Digital media savvy, experienced with new digital technologies.

Creative video and film and photography experience, versed in all aspects of short film creation from pre‑production to shooting, editing, and post‑production.

Able to work independently.

Graphics and animation experience a plus.

Terms: Ideal candidates are located in the Bay Area for occasional in‑person work and client meetings, but we also consider non‑local applicants with extensive editing and graphics experience.
