About the Role

Our manufacturing client is seeking a Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of strategic internal and external communications campaigns. This role allows you to drive initiatives that support business priorities, enhance employee engagement, and protect our reputation.

What You’ll Do

Build and manage relationships with stakeholders across business units and functions
Lead integrated communications campaigns supporting global defence initiatives
Develop and execute corporate social responsibility campaigns (STEM, community, armed forces charities)
Align messaging across channels including LinkedIn, intranet, and leadership forums
Create engaging multimedia content (articles, videos, photography) for digital platforms
Develop key messages, talking points, speeches, and press materials
Support tradeshow, PR, and digital storytelling campaigns
What You Bring

Required Qualifications

Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Psychology, or related field
5+ years of experience in communications, PR, or marketing within a corporate environment
Proven ability to manage integrated campaigns from concept to execution
Solid writing and messaging skills across multiple platforms
Experience working in a matrixed, global organization
Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications

Media relations experience
Background in technology, aerospace, defense, or related industries
Experience in corporate communications, fundraising, or campaign-driven environments
Security Requirements

This role involves work under Canada’s Controlled Goods Program.
Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Have lived in Canada for at least 5 consecutive years
Be eligible to pass required security screenings
