As the new digital innovation studio in Carrier Global, the Foundry launches connected platforms and products that use data to solve big societal issues. Our cross-disciplinary team includes product managers, technologists, strategists, researchers, interaction designers, product designers, and software engineers – all passionate about the ability of technology to change the world for the better.

Product Strategists at Carrier have a passion for technology, an empathy for user experiences, and an interest in connected solutions. We work on a range of complex digital innovation and strategic design projects critical to Carrier’s continued business growth.

The Senior Product Strategist helps shape our innovation roadmap through a business-relevant, future-looking, and customer-focused perspective. This role will work across the entire digital portfolio, ensuring that our digital solutions are grounded in the rigorous exploration of customer needs, business outcomes and technical feasibility.

This role can be based in Atlanta, GA, Palm Beach Gardens, FL or work remotely.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy

Inform strategy for digital products and services by evaluating the customer desirability, business viability and technical feasibility

Define the product vision and business goals, competitive differentiation, value proposition, key features and roadmap for new digital offerings

Facilitate product discovery and definition sessions with our business unit partners to understand cross-Carrier digital roadmaps and identify opportunities for collaboration

Work with business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, features and capabilities based on value to Carrier

Collaborate with product managers and product owners in the transition from initial visioning to implementation

Customer Co-Innovation

Plan and facilitate sessions with our customers to identify pain points, opportunities, and desired features for digital products and services

Coordinate requirements and feature requests across customer segments and business units to inform cross-Foundry digital roadmap

Champion customer-driven design processes and methodologies, both within Digital Foundry and across our business unit partners

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

7+ years of work experience in product, design and/or strategy

3+ years of experience leading and contributing to digital innovation projects.

3+ years of experience working with designers, technologists, or product managers.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, design, or computer science

Experience working in a complex matrixed environment with cross-functional stakeholders.

Experience in product, design and/or strategy with a high level of accountability and autonomy

Strong hands‑on knowledge of product development lifecycle.

Strong hands‑on knowledge of design thinking and/or lean startup methodologies.

Collaborative team-player with the curiosity and confidence to both learn and teach.

Ability to synthesize unstructured content into a persuasive, strategy‑based point‑of‑view.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and executive presence.

Highly flexible mindset that thrives in ambiguity and can guide others towards clarity.

Intellectually curious with a desire to understand the bigger picture.
