JOB SUMMARY
The Technical Account Specialist manages Diversey’s businesses within their assigned territory. The role involves surveying, installing, maintaining and repairing chemical dispensing platforms and leased dish machines at customer sites. The specialist delivers value proposition and meets service level agreements for laundry, kitchen, and housekeeping applications. The position is a remote field role located in the San Francisco area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver outstanding customer experience with the Diversey cleaning and sanitation program.
Establish excellent relationships at all customer organization levels.
Maintain total security by adhering to policies, procedures and EHS best practices.
Install equipment in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
Conduct routine visits and maintain existing customer equipment.
Train customers on safe equipment use, Safety Data Sheets, cleaning procedures and product information.
Check inventory to ensure minimum supplies on-site, place purchasing orders and ensure program compliance.
Serve as the voice of the customer – recap focus areas, follow up on issues and capture customer satisfaction.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems and conditions.
Manage inventory levels in company vehicle and storage units.
Repair leased dish machines and equipment per service level agreement.
Complete administrative duties: timesheet, purchase order follow‑up, consumption documentation, weekly visit plan review with manager.
Complete mandatory training: annual training program, safety training.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of field service experience maintaining industrial equipment or mechanical problem‑solving, or sales experience with cleaning solutions/equipment to hospitality or food service businesses.
Availability for emergency calls, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
Proficiency with email, Excel, Word, Google Apps, and mobile apps.
Valid U.S. driver’s license with good driving record and ability to drive long periods.
Physical ability to move up to 40 lbs and perform work in limited spaces.
Power tools, plumbing and electrical skills.
Professional attitude, self‑motivation, high attention to detail, time management, communication, decision‑making, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work cross‑functionally.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Salesforce (FSL).
CPFS Certification.

COMPENSATION
USD 52,760.00 – USD 77,374.00 plus discretionary bonuses (subject to experience and law).
