Painter (Various Shifts) – Indianapolis, IN – Job Number: 339025. Join Textron Aviation as a full‑time Spray Painter on the Customer Service team.
Responsibilities
Prepare, strip, sand, clean, mask, prime, and spray‑paint aircraft surfaces, including large structures such as fuselage, tails, and wings.
Perform precision rework, touch‑ups, and detailed blends on completed aircraft interior and exterior panels.
Match and apply specialized domestic and foreign paint finishes.
Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain spray equipment and related accessories.
Review painted surfaces for discrepancies, determine corrections, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
Monitor inventory, forecast supply needs, and order materials proactively.
Coordinate paint shop materials and support smooth operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, or a bronze‑level WorkKeys certification.
Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge if required.
Basic understanding of measurements, tools, and shop practices, with strong attention to detail and interest in hands‑on craft‑driven work.
