Fall 2026 Design Co-op: 2D/3D CAD for Shipbuilding

Newport News Shipbuilding, A Division of HII, is seeking a Designer Co-Op in Newport News, Virginia, providing students with hands-on experience in design and development of U.S. Navy aircraft carriers and submarines.
The position involves assisting experienced designers with engineering drawings, using CAD software, and participating in multidisciplinary collaboration. Applicants must be enrolled in a 2-year college and have a GPA of 2.5 or greater.
