Operations Technician II

Operations Technician II – Redstone Arsenal, AL. Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) is hiring for a role that supports large‑scale government operations by leveraging cutting‑edge technology.

Responsibilities

Perform extremely high‑profile work for the Department of Defense.

Function independently to resolve problems.

Perform maintenance and other logistics functions on fielded systems.

Prepare shipping materials.

Operate test and diagnostic equipment.

Operate handling equipment.

Operate/drive various vehicles.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

5+ years of relevant experience.

A current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.

Interim Secret clearance required on day one; must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance for the life of the contract.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience with commercial and military material handling equipment is desired.

Demonstrated maturity and technical strength in the area of expertise and ability to adapt quickly to complex and evolving scope of work.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Proper use of standard hand tools and material handling equipment.

Operation of heavy equipment, including trucks and forklifts, for general material handling.

Ability to lift boxes, packages, and equipment up to 100 pounds using proper equipment and lifting techniques.

Physically fit with full use of arms, legs, and back.

Maintain required training and certifications.

Use computers to search for and generate information using Microsoft Office.

Travel 20–30% to CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
