Overview
Walker Sands is seeking an energetic, detail‑oriented individual to serve as a Public Relations Intern for a paid 12‑week internship. This hybrid position reports to our Chicago office.

Responsibilities

Develop media lists and conceptualize pitch strategies.

Coordinate media opportunities and write press releases and other deliverables.

Prepare media briefing materials, conduct research, and draft speaking and award submissions.

Support client teams across multiple B2B industries.

Qualifications

Strong interest in media, trends, and newsworthiness.

Excellent writing skills and a keen eye for grammar.

Self‑starter who can think on their feet and adapt quickly.

Eligible for full‑time employment upon completion of the program. Students who will remain enrolled in a full‑time academic program cannot apply.

Must complete a writing test during the interview process.

Compensation & Benefits
12‑week paid internship, 40 hours per week: $18.00 per hour.

Hybrid work: mix of in‑office and remote.
