Operating in both Massachusetts and New York, we are growing our footprint in highly regulated markets and are seeking a strategic, compliance-driven Marketing Manager to lead brand growth across multiple locations.

Position Summary
The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of compliant, data-driven marketing strategies across Reverie 73's Massachusetts and New York retail operations. This role requires deep knowledge of regulated marketing environments and the ability to balance creativity with strict compliance standards. You will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention while ensuring all initiatives meet Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) and New York Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance

Ensure all marketing aligns with MA CCC (935 CMR 500) and NY OCM (Part 128) regulations

Maintain compliant advertising practices including age-gating (21+), DISCLAIMERS, and content restrictions

Partner with internal teams to review and approve all campaigns

Marketing Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies across retail and digital platforms

Lead product launch campaigns, seasonal promotions, and store-level marketing initiatives

Align marketing efforts with inventory strategy, vendor partnerships, and revenue goals

Digital & CRM Marketing

Partner on website content, SEO, and local search visibility

Oversee cannabis marketplace platforms (Leafly, Dutchie)

Execute compliant email and SMS campaigns using CRM tool Alpine IQ

Track KPIs and campaign performance, optimizing for ROI and customer engagement

Retail Merchandising & Promotions

Develop compliant in-store displays, signage, and promotional materials

Support, plan and execute compliant promotions and loyalty programs

Partner with store teams to ensure consistent brand execution

Brand & Community Engagement

Manage social media presence within platform and regulatory constraints

Support community outreach and partnerships in MA and NY markets

Promote cannabis education and brand awareness for all store staff members

New York Pre-Opening & Launch Responsibilities

Support a new store opening in New York, aligning marketing readiness with OCM approvals

Develop compliant pre-launch and grand opening strategies

Partner to build digital presence (website, SEO, dispensary listings) ahead of launch

Implement CRM systems and customer acquisition strategies for new markets

Coordinate merchandising, vendor activations, and community engagement initiatives

Track launch performance and optimize post-opening marketing strategies

Qualifications
Experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field

5+ years of marketing experience (retail or regulated industry preferred)

Experience in cannabis or multi-state regulated environments strongly preferred

Skills

Strong knowledge of MA and/or NY cannabis marketing regulations

Expertise in digital marketing, CRM, and campaign analyticsAbility to manage multiple markets and cross-functional teams

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven

Creative thinker with strong brand and merchandising instincts
