InDesign Production Designer

To support a client's project, the temporary remote InDesign Production Designer will convert 13 guidebooks from PowerPoint into InDesign, focusing on layout, typography, and graphic placement while adhering to an established template for brand consistency.
Key responsibilities:

Convert 13 existing guidebooks from PowerPoint files into Adobe InDesign
Adhere to an established InDesign template, managing layout and pagination for approximately 20 pages per guidebook
Utilize Basecamp for project management and maintain communication with the team regarding project progress and challenges

Required qualifications:

Mid to senior-level experience (5+ years) as a Production Designer or in a similar role
Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign, with a strong portfolio demonstrating production design skills
Proven experience in converting documents from formats like PowerPoint into InDesign
Strong understanding of typography, layout, and print production best practices
Must possess own laptop and Adobe InDesign software license
