Internal Communications Specialist

Contract Duration: 6+ Months (Possibility of Extension)
We are seeking a talented Communications Specialist to support internal communications initiatives and employee engagement efforts within a dynamic enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a strong writer who can transform complex information into clear, engaging, and audience-focused messaging.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and measure internal communication plans aligned with business objectives.
Create engaging content for intranet, email, digital signage, and other internal communication channels.
Support communication strategies for organizational initiatives, projects, and change management efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure messaging is accurate, timely, and impactful.
Manage communication timelines, content calendars, and project deliverables.
Analyze communication effectiveness through metrics and employee feedback.
Assist with employee engagement campaigns, internal events, and communication initiatives.
Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Corporate Communications, or a related field.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Experience creating and executing multi-channel communication plans.
Ability to simplify complex topics into employee-friendly communications.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
Knowledge of employee engagement, change communications, and internal communications best practices.
Familiarity with communication and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, AEM, Staffbase, Asana, or similar platforms.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a data-driven mindset.
