WHERE YOU CONTRIBUTE The Reward Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of core reward processes within the Americas Market, supporting people and organisational priorities through fair, competitive and scalable reward practices. Working as a trusted partner to People Partners, Talent Acquisition and business leaders, you provide expert guidance and practical solutions that support attraction, internal equity and a positive employee experience.
You are the compensation and benefits expert for the Americas Market, with a deep understanding of local labor markets, regulations and compensation practices. You bring grounded market insight to inform global reward frameworks, while also acting as a clear advocate for global reward policy and governance, ensuring global approaches are understood, adopted and applied consistently within your markets.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES Compensation advisory and business partnership You are a trusted partner to the People team and business stakeholders. This includes:
Providing expert advice on compensation, benefits and total reward matters
Translating complex reward concepts into clear, practical guidance
Supporting the People team and business leaders to ensure reward policies and practices are understood and applied consistently in the Americas
Influencing decision-making through insight and expertise
Delivery of core reward and global mobility activities You lead the delivery of total reward and global mobility processes across the Americas market, including:
Leading Americas annual base pay review and annual bonus processes ensuring data accuracy, system readiness, manager guidance, coordination with Payroll and HR Operations
Supporting non‑retail pay reviews in partnership with People Partners and the wider global Reward team
Leading Americas benefits strategy, reviews, renewals, regulatory reporting requirements, broker management and open enrolment ensuring alignment with global principles and local market needs
Support design, governance and execution of incentive and bonus plans. Partner with Finance, Payroll and Global Reward on modelling and payout processes
Supporting the implementation, communication and operation of global reward programmes and initiatives in your markets, including bonus plans, ESPP, wellbeing and recognition, etc.
Acting as the local advocate for reward programmes in the Americas market, ensuring managers, People Partners and employees understand how programmes work and how to access them
Acting as the global mobility partner for the Americas, ensuring alignment with reward frameworks, mobility policies and local regulatory requirements
Reward architecture and governance You are accountable for maintaining strong reward foundations within the Americas Market. This includes:
Owning and maintaining the job catalogue for the Americas market as part of the global job architecture
Leading job evaluation and levelling activity to ensure roles are assessed and applied consistently
Supporting the development, implementation and ongoing effectiveness of pay structures within global guardrails
Leading benchmarking activity, including participation in local and global salary surveys, and interpreting market data to inform pay positioning and recommendations
Providing feedback and insight to contribute to the evolution of global reward frameworks and policies
Supporting People Partners and Hiring Managers with market aligned recommendations to ensure the right governance is in place for pay decisions on hiring, for promotion and role changes.
Leadership and capability building You support the strength, development and consistency of the reward team by:
Coaching, mentoring and developing the reward team in the Americas
Ensuring high-quality, consistent delivery of reward processes
Helping to build reward capability and knowledge across the team
KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES Reward and technical expertise Strong knowledge of reward principles, including job evaluation, benchmarking, salary structure design and pay administration
Experience across total reward, including benefits, recognition and regulatory reporting
Demonstrated experience delivering core reward processes in a complex, multinational environment
Analytical and problem‑solving capability Strong analytical mindset with confidence working with reward data and insights
Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint capability, with the ability to interpret and present data clearly to different audiences
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and applying judgement where data or precedent is incomplete
Stakeholder partnership and influence Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence at all levels
Able to explain technical reward concepts clearly to non‑specialists
Balances pragmatism with governance, holding the line where needed
Mindset and ways of working Proactive, organised and able to work independently with strong ownership

Confident making decisions within authority, with good judgement on when to escalate

Shape local implementation of global reward policies, programmes and communications

Make day‑to‑day reward decisions with appropriate judgement and escalation.
You contribute to decisions on: Development and evolution of global reward frameworks and policies.
Pay review principles and guidance.
