Position Overview

Genesee Academy is seeking a dynamic and creative Visual Art Teacher to join our passionate team for the upcoming school year.
Key Responsibilities

Teach visual arts to elementary, middle, and/or high school students.
Design and deliver engaging lessons in drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and art appreciation.
Foster students' creativity, self-expression, and artistic skills.
Organize student artwork displays and participate in school events and exhibitions.
Maintain a positive, organized, and inspiring classroom environment.
Collaborate with fellow educators to refine teaching strategies and curriculum.
Evaluate student progress through assignments, assessments, and projects.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred).
Michigan Teaching Certificate preferred.
Experience teaching art to school-age students is preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to supporting students' academic, artistic, and personal growth.
