Talent ChampionWe’re looking for a people-focused, detail-oriented Talent professional to join our team as a Talent Champion onsite in Jasper, Indiana.In this role, you’ll be at the center of the employee experience—driving recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and employee relations while helping shape a positive and high-performing workplace culture.If you enjoy building strong partnerships, improving processes, and making a real impact on employees’ day-to-day experience, we’d love to connect.What You’ll DoLead full-cycle recruiting for all U.S. positions, partnering with hiring managers to identify and attract top talentCoordinate background checks and employment verificationsDeliver engaging onboarding and orientation experiences for new hiresSupport Talent programs including benefits, leave administration, recognition, and employee engagement initiativesEnsure compliance with multi- federal, state, and local employment laws and Talent best practicesReview weekly payroll for accuracy and partner with U.S. and Canada payroll teams (serve as backup processor)Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews and feedback analysisTrack talent metrics to support business decisionsPartner with Operations on safety reviews and incident follow-upsCommunity partnerships by coordinating outreach initiatives, supporting local events, and enhancing the organization’s employer brand within the communitySupport managers with employee relations and performance managementRespond to employee questions and help maintain a positive, supportive workplace environmentWhat You BringExperience in recruiting and talent operationsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of employment laws and Talent best practicesHigh level of discretion and attention to detailWhy Join Us?You’ll play a key role in shaping the employee experience while working alongside a collaborative team that values people, performance, and continuous improvement.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field2–5 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Operations, or RecruitingStrong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practicesExperience with full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processesFamiliarity with HRIS systems and payroll processes (multi-state and/or Canada experience is a plus) (Dayforce experience is a plus)Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretionStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience supporting employee relations and performance management initiativesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HR analytics/reporting tools is a plusSHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification preferred (not required)CompetenciesCommunicates effectively: Actively listens to customers and checks for understanding, adjusts communication content and style to meet the needs of stakeholder, models and encourages ideas and opinions.
