Overview
We are seeking a full-time Programs and Services Coordinator to support the coordination, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of community-based programs and services. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role offers a strong opportunity for professional growth and future leadership development within the organization.
The Coordinator will support key programs including Better at Home, Community Connector, and Adult Day Services.
This is a salaried position based on a standard 37.5-hour work week. In accordance with the British Columbia Employment Standards Act, the role is considered exempt from overtime provisions. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required to support program and operational needs; adaptable scheduling will be applied where possible.
Duties
Coordinate delivery of community programs, services, and events
Conduct participant intake and service coordination
Support reporting and administration, with primary responsibility for Better at Home reporting
Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
Support budgeting, financial planning, and program evaluation
Produce accurate, concise, and professional reports, correspondence, and governance documents
Contribute to continuous improvement of services
Requirements
Post-secondary education in business administration, human/social services, or non-profit sector (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Experience with budgeting and financial planning in a not for profit environment
Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience coordinating programs, services, or events in a community or non-profit setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and formal report writing
Experience using digital tools and AI-assisted applications (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support administrative tasks, reporting, communications, and program coordination
Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with staff, volunteers, community partners, and external stakeholders
Valid BC Driver’s Licence
