Job Description
AEA supplemental requests via internal application will be accepted until 2:00 pm on 5/8/2025.

Salary
AEA Members: 3% of the base salary on the AEA Certified Salary Schedule.

Non-AEA Members: 3% of the base salary on the Non-Degreed Certified Salary Schedule.

Essential Duties

Must have extensive knowledge of percussion technique and instruction

Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior

Positive, high energy, and committed

Partner well with the band staff

Ability to establish working relationships with co-workers and function as a cohesive team

Able to have effective and positive communication with students, staff members, and directors

Responsible, professional, and embodies high ethical standards and integrity

Attend drumline rehearsals, marching band rehearsals, and marching band performances

Attend spring training rehearsals for band trip and spring drumline clinics at the Middle School

Work with the Drumline Captains to develop a high-quality drumline

Requirements Before Starting

Valid and appropriate Ohio teaching license or pupil activity permit

Ohio Auditor of State Fraud Reporting and Training Certificate of Completion

Favorable state and federal background checks

Negative drug screen result

Employees must follow all board policies, all state and federal laws, and adhere to the Ohio Code of Ethics set up by the Ohio Department of Education.
