Creative and detail-oriented, the On-Call Social Media Producer will write and produce engaging content for various social platforms, optimizing Marketplace's presence remotely on an as-needed basis.
Key responsibilities:
Write and produce shareable graphics and short-form videos under tight deadlines for all social media platforms
Assist with social media campaigns and strategically schedule and publish content
Collaborate with newsroom partners and use data to inform content strategies while ensuring brand consistency
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or a related field
2+ years of experience producing content for social platforms on behalf of a brand or media outlet
Strong knowledge of social media trends, particularly on video-first platforms like YouTube and TikTok
Proficiency in Photoshop, Premiere, CapCut, or similar editing software
Demonstrated success in creating engaging campaigns and social media posts
