About the Role


The Company is seeking a Vice President of Marketing and Development to serve as the executive leader responsible for advancing the organization's external strategy, brand presence, philanthropic growth, and community engagement. The successful candidate will provide executive leadership in brand strategy, marketing, community relations, strategic partnerships, and fund development, ensuring a unified approach that strengthens public awareness and community investment in the organization's mission. This role involves leading the organization's storytelling strategy, developing and executing integrated brand awareness and community engagement strategies, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. The Vice President will also be accountable for building public trust, expanding community investment, and creating the external partnerships that enable the organization to fulfill its lifesaving mission.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 8 years' progressive leadership experience in marketing, communications, nonprofit development, or business development. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in brand strategy, integrated marketing campaigns, and securing grants, sponsorships, and philanthropic support. Executive leadership experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations is also preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional written, verbal, and public speaking skills, strong leadership and team development abilities, and the capacity to build collaborative relationships both within the organization and in the community. The Vice President will be expected to lead with integrity, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement, and to use data and measurable outcomes to drive decision-making and organizational growth.
