💼 Hybrid, in-person, Full-time
A seed-stage AI edtech, backed by top edtech investors, with 300,000+ students across all 50 states and 190+ countries. College partners include R1 research universities, state flagships, and accredited four-year institutions. Recognized as "Most Promising Company in Higher Ed" at ASU GSV. Featured in ChatGPT Future Class of 2026.
The role: First real closer on the institutional side. You own new business across higher ed end-to-end, source, pitch, negotiate, close, and you get a real say in how we sell.
What you'll do 🎯 Own the full cycle: prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close, no handoffs. 🏛️ Build a pipeline of colleges and universities, going straight to admissions, enrollment, and recruitment decision-makers. 🔍 Run discovery that actually lands: understand each institution's enrollment goals and tie us directly to them. 📊 Pitch with data and the two-sided marketplace edge, not a generic deck. 🤝 Negotiate terms and close deals that set partners up to stick. 🧠 Feed the market back to growth and AI teams and help shape GTM. 📈 Keep HubSpot clean and your forecast honest.
You might be a fit if:
- You've got 3+ years closing new logos full-cycle (SaaS, edtech, higher ed, or marketplace a strong plus)
- You hit quota consistently, and you can prove it
- You're comfortable selling to senior decision-makers and steering multi-stakeholder deals
- You listen first, then connect the dots between what a buyer wants and what you're selling
- You can make a data-driven case and tell a mission-driven story in the same breath
- You don't wait to be told what to do, early-stage chaos energizes you
- You're fluent in modern sales tooling (CRM, outreach, enrichment)
- Bonus: you already sell into admissions/enrollment, know the AI/edtech landscape, or have a rolodex of college relationships
If your last few years have been spent managing renewals on accounts someone else closed, this won't be the right fit.
What we offer: meaningful early-stage equity. NYC HQ alongside the core team. A product that actually expands access for students. And the chance to get in early on the institutional side and grow with the company.
