We are looking for a Marketing Manager to drive marketing engagement with Whole Foods Market (WFM) suppliers in support of growing supplier marketing and advertising revenue. Key responsibilities include presenting our omnichannel portfolio of supplier marketing and advertising opportunities to brands, and strategizing marketing plans to help them achieve their goals. This role works in close partnership with cross‑functional teams including Category Merchandising, Category Marketing, Promo Marketing, Supplier Partnerships and Negotiations, and Amazon Advertising. We are seeking a strategic, critical thinker with strong business acumen and communication skills who obsesses over customers, earns trust with stakeholders, dives deep into business metrics and processes, and consistently delivers results.

This position is based in Austin, TX, with an expectation of being in the downtown office five days a week.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with brands and present in 1‑to‑1 and 1‑to‑many venues, overviewing strategic omnichannel opportunities and articulating the value programs provide.

Act as supplier POC for assigned categories and lead strategic planning for a subset of suppliers.

Use data‑driven learnings and customer insights to recommend and implement evolving product and business strategies that drive mutually beneficial outcomes for Whole Foods, suppliers, and customers.

Optimize supplier marketing programs to ensure programs are competitive and desirable for suppliers.

Partner with Whole Foods Market Category Merchants and Amazon Advertising Account Executives to co‑develop supplier marketing plans that include WFM marketing and advertising tactics.

Basic Qualifications

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).

Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data.

Experience building, executing and scaling cross‑functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.

Experience producing marketing promotional material for owned & operated channels.

Experience in brand identity and voice development.

Experience creating brand marketing content.

BA/BS degree and 4-6+ years of experience in shopper marketing, retail media, or other relevant roles at an established retailer, CPG company, or media organization.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs.

Strong business acumen and a proven track record delivering business results through high‑impact marketing programs.

Flexibility and initiative to identify operational gaps and drive improvements, even outside of core responsibilities.

Comfortable navigating ambiguity, aligning stakeholders across priorities, and thriving in a dynamic environment.

Expertise in B2B and B2C communications with a keen eye for effective messaging; communicates written information in a clear, structured, and concise manner.

The base salary range for this position is $80,600.00 – $141,100.00 annually. The full Amazon compensation package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
