StarQuest Dance Competition is heading into our 34th Season and looking to grow our team with a new Event Director. We produce Broadway caliber events that aim to consistently remove the stressful obstacles to a great performance, enabling everyone to thrive in a professionally run, family atmosphere, while always smoothly running on time. We tour 70+ cities each year and deliver a truly unique experience to performers of all ages. Collectively, we are a team of creative leaders, each with different skills and personalities, who work non-stop together to deliver the best experience possible to anyone we encounter. We are looking for motivated leaders to join our team as a full time Event Director.

The main goal of an Event Director at StarQuest is to build relationships with our guests, lead/mentor your staff and judges, preplan and tech advance flawlessly to execute a seamless on-time event, and make sure the experience is the "real award." Along the way will come problem solving, using good judgement, plus being a standout leader and an organizational expert.

This is a FULL-TIME year-round position.

Schedule & Travel

Start Date is flexible depending on the applicant, but no later than November 1st, 2026. Preferably able to start by August 10th, 2026.

This position is a traveling role half of the year and remote the other half. You will travel every weekend from January – June for events.

Most weeks Jan. - June. you will travel to the event on Wednesday evening or Thursday early morning and return home on Monday afternoon.

Position requires travel to World Finals throughout June & July - These events run 10 days from Load in to Load out and team members usually attended 2-3 events.

Work from home August – January each year (traveling a few weeks during this time for training)
