WHAT YOU’LL DO
PreProduction: You will be collaborating with event producers, technical directors, and other departments to plan and execute a show. Designing, diagramming, and prepping all aspects of event video for your assigned events.

On Show: You will be leading the setup, performance, and takedown of video equipment for large live events.

General: Under the direction of the Video Department Manager, you will help manage and maintain the quality of Webb’s video inventory and look ahead for trends in the industry to help evolve Webb’s video inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS
Who you are
You have 3+ years of experience in video with live events and have a wide and deep knowledge of video equipment. Broadcast video experience is okay, but we are ideally looking for someone with Live Events experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Below is a list of KSAs that we’d like in a candidate, however, you do NOT need to have experience in every area to be considered (some but not all).

Working knowledge of Screen Management platforms, Barco E2, Aquilon, Pixelhue, Experience is Preferable.

Experience in operation of Video playback, Graphics, Camera Directing, Camera Operating, Camera Shading, and Screen Switching during Live Events

Experience with video engineering: signal flow and troubleshooting

Working knowledge of video over IP, specifically SMPTE 2110

In-depth working knowledge of Large Venue Projectors (Panasonic, Epson)

In-depth working knowledge of Panasonic cameras

Experience in LED wall installation and programming

Experience leading labor hands during show installation and takedown.

Experience loading trucks

Experience driving scissor lifts and forklifts

A desire to assist, along with your peers, in building up the video team’s knowledge, skills, and abilities

Any other duties that might be required or outlined at a later time

Key responsibilities

Experience: 3-4 years of direct experience in technical direction or event project management with a portfolio showcasing your work.

Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of lighting, sound, and video design, and the ability to execute these designs effectively.

Design Skills: Proficiency in drafting and design, including but not limited to plans/elevations and construction documents.

Software Skills:

Essential: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Preferred: Working knowledge of Vectorworks and Monday.com.

Bonus Points For: Experience with CAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Client-Facing Experience: Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role with executives and senior-level professionals.

Location and Travel: Ability to work out of our Salt Lake City office on a daily basis and willingness to travel for productions as needed.

Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, and a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
