Webster University’s Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts invites applications for the position of Guest Director for Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts’ Fall Production of IN THE GREEN

Directors set their artistic vision for a show, including selecting the student cast, collaborating with the team of student designers, leading rehearsals, blocking/choreographing the action, and guiding the overall aesthetic of the production.

Responsibilities

Attend semester auditions to select the student cast members

Lead rehearsals

Monitor production's pacing

Collaborate with production team, including student stage managers

Collaborate with team of student designers

Collaborate with producer and faculty to ensure artistic process aligns with educational goals of the department

Deliver a high-caliber production

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and/or extensive experience in the field

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and/or extensive experience in the field; MFA
