Permitting Specialist (Telecom / Fiber) – RemoteLocation: Remote (Eastern or Central Time Preferred)Job Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire or Direct HirePay: $25.00 – $30 per hourAbout the RoleWe are hiring a Permitting Specialist to support high-volume telecom and fiber deployment projects across multiple markets. This role is critical in ensuring permits are submitted, tracked, and approved efficiently to keep construction timelines on schedule.If you have experience in telecom permitting, right-of-way coordination, or municipal approvals , this is a great opportunity to join a growing team with strong project pipeline and long-term stability.What You'll DoManage the full lifecycle of telecom permits (submission? approval? tracking)Coordinate with municipalities, DOTs, utilities, and pole ownersPrepare and submit permit packages and supporting documentationConduct jurisdiction research to identify processes and points of contactProactively follow up on pending permits (calls/emails) to avoid delaysMaintain detailed permit logs, trackers, and status updatesCommunicate regularly with project managers and internal teamsSupport high-volume project environments with accuracy and urgencyWhat We're Looking For2+ years of telecom/fiber permitting experience (OSP preferred)Strong understanding of right-of-way and utility permitting processesComfortable following up persistently with agencies to move permits forwardHighly organized with strong attention to detailAble to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyProficient with:Microsoft Excel, Outlook, WordStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Nice to HaveExperience with multi-state permitting (MI, IN, TX, etc.)Exposure to Comcast or MSO-related projectsFamiliarity with joint-use / pole attachment processesBasic CAD knowledgeWhy Join Us?Fast-growing company with strong telecom project pipelineFlexible hiring structure (contract-to-hire OR direct hire)Fully remote opportunity with autonomyCollaborative, no-micromanagement cultureOpportunity to grow into senior permitting or project rolesWork SetupRemote (Eastern/Central preferred)Must have reliable internet and home office setup#J-18808-Ljbffr
